This blog is the result of a problem that I’ve been turning around in my head for a while – how to get ideas that don’t really fill a full book in their scope out to a wider audience than I could otherwise converse with. Rather than just reflect on events from day to day (although occasionally doing this) it aims to look at the theory and ideas behind events as well proposing new ideas.

The goal is not to present a rule book on how things ought to be, but rather to sketch out what’s going on, present a critique and offer ideas on ways to move forward. It will touch on areas like religion, politics, political theory, philosophy and other topics that are relevant.

It's a new year and I figure now's as good a time as any to begin. I hope you enjoy reading it as I will writing it.
